Regional Director – Asia with WEA IT Commission

Working as Regional Director for Asia with World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) IT Commission, Sharoon Sarfraz is responsible to serve the IT Needs of more than 20 National Alliances in Asia and formation of Evangelical group focusing the technical professional at workplace. He is directly dealing with the National Alliance leaders, WEA Regional and Global Leadership.
In this Role, he has taken the lead to ensure the extensive use of technology to reach the unreached and ensuring coordination and collaboration with other Alliances.
He is also serving on the Board of Lausanne Movement Technology Advisory Group, Board of AFCI International in Pakistan, Board of Evangelical Alliance of Pakistan and part of Lausanne Movement Team in Pakistan, particularly working for the Gospel at the Workplace. Sharoon has been organizing and leading, speaking at the Workplace Events in Pakistan to build a strong Christian Character.
He is certified Oracle CRM Consultant and He has more than 11 Years of Working experience with IT companies including IBM – USA and Oracle – Singapore. He is now working as CEO & Founder of ‘Glee Technology’ in Pakistan and has been responsible to Lead and implement new & existing projects in the company.
He did his graduation in Information Technology from Punjab University, Lahore – Pakistan and did Masters in Business Administrations with focus on Information Management from VU Pakistan.
He is a visiting faculty member in one of the seminary 'Zarephath Bible Seminary' in Islamabad - Pakistan and teaches on the topic of Information Technology and its impact on Religion – Christianity.
Born to a Christian family in Lahore, Sharoon accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior at the age of 18 and got baptized. Sharoon lives in Islamabad – Pakistan. He and his wife Saba Gill have a Daughter ‘Simone’ and a Son ‘Steven’.
