Born and raised in Seattle, WA I received a BA in Biology/Geology from Whitman College, an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and completed the National Planned Giving Institute at the College of William and Mary.
Since 1982, I has been passionate about serving nonprofits. What began as volunteer fundraising, turned into a career spanning more than 35 years. I bring a love of people and relationships to all I do, believing that all good things begin when we care deeply about what it is we are doing. This philosophy, along with a thorough knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, I have helped organizations reach and exceed their revenue goals.
I was Special Counsel to Clive Calver, Pres/CEO of World Relief and CEO of the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission. Ten years ago I started a consulting firm serving nonprofits and the people they serve.
Married 30 years to Trina with three grown boys and two daughters-in-law. I love all things outdoors, always competing in something athletic since starting ice hockey at 5. Love reading across a broad range of topics. Recently relocate to Spokane, WA after 38 years in Santa Barbara, CA. I love the Lord, His global church and the world Jesus died for.
